Pep’s Story & Mission
Our mission is to roast and deliver high-quality coffee beans that highlight coffee’s natural flavors, making specialty coffee accessible to all while fostering a sense of tradition, care, and connection in every cup.
Pep’s journey with coffee began during early rowing practices, fueled by a simple coffee machine, but he quickly grew frustrated with the bitter taste of dark roasts hidden under sugar and cream. While studying in Europe, he discovered something profound: when coffee is roasted and brewed well, it can stand independently. Many Italian, Belgian, and French cafés didn’t even offer syrups, emphasizing the beauty of a perfectly crafted latte or cappuccino.
Inspired by this approach, Pep brought his vision back to campus, showing others how coffee could be elevated with care and intention. Two years later, Pep’s pop-up coffee cart continues to share that passion, offering a range of roasts (especially lighter ones!) to highlight the coffee’s natural flavors, honoring both tradition and taste.
